We were expecting the worst when trying to sell our condo in Irving Park. The market was flooded with comparable listings, and there was both a short sale and a foreclosure in our building. Ted did his homework on the comps before meeting with us to decide the specifics on how to list. He came up with some great marketing ideas to set our unit apart from the others. We knew we were on the right track when as showing requests were coming in regularly. When we got an offer, I relied on his knowledge and experience in the negotiations, and in the end we sold for more than we had originally expected.

Working with Ted on the purchase of our house was another great experience. He really listened to what we were looking for and only presented the properties that matched. When we viewed our future purchase, we knew it was the one we wanted. Again, Ted did his homework. He researched the neighborhood and comparable listings. We discussed the process of making an offer and negotiating, from a buyers perspective this time. We used his experience to come in with an offer lower than the asking price, with the intent of negotiating to our desired purchase price. After less than a week, we had contracts signed with a purchase price of less than we had planned.
